DESIGNER (MID-LEVEL)
New York City
We are seeking a talented, conceptually driven, and detail-oriented Designer to join a small, passionate Creative team where you will play a key role in bringing our clients’ creative needs to life in the fast-paced, exciting beverage industry.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own design projects end-to-end, taking set art direction and driving design from concepting to final production across multiple projects and brands simultaneously.
- Maintain and evolve our clients’ brand identities, translating them across assets, including point-of-sale, digital, social, event materials, and presentations.
- Present work and creative rationale to internal stakeholders and clients, fielding feedback and managing revisions with confidence.
- Review and elevate work produced by the Junior Designer, providing clear, constructive direction that improves output and supports their development.
- Be the gatekeeper of quality work, ensuring all design ideas and outputs are on brief and meet the agency’s standard of excellence.’
- Support the Senior Art Director in building and maintaining the design team’s integrity, collaborating closely with account teams,
- being a gatekeeper of quality work, and managing internal team processes.
- Support the ACD and Senior Art Director on photoshoots and participate in creative brainstorms, when the opportunity arises.
- Assist the agency on internal design projects, including Sidecar’s website, social, and agency events.
- Learn, a lot. But also have a lot of fun. We work in drinks after all.
YOU MUST HAVE...
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in a graphic design-related field.
- 3-5 years in a graphic design agency role (internship experience applies)
- A design portfolio showing a broad range of design experience - print, digital, experiential, retail, etc.
- Excellent skills in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
- A strong eye for typography, layout, and branding with excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Experience managing junior designers, interns, or freelance designers
- Proficient in Google Slides, Keynote, and PowerPoint for presentation design.
- A tech-savvy mindset with a comfort and interest in using and learning new design tools.
- The ability to multitask across different projects while maintaining a team-player mentality.
- Impeccable attention to design and have an ability to maintain the quality of output.
- A glass-half-full personality - resiliently positive attitude is key to the Sidecar ethos.
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule (in office Mon, Wed, and Thurs.)
- Legal authorization to work in the United States, and must be 21+.
IT WOULD BE THE CHERRY ON TOP IF YOU HAD...
- Skills in After Effects and Figma with experience in motion graphics and web design.

Compensation
$70,000 - $80,000 (based on experience and qualifications)
