We are looking for an energetic and driven Senior Account Executive to join our Brand Experiences team, where you will be a key figure in concepting and bringing to life impactful and memorable events for our amazing clients within the fast-paced beverage industry.

As an Brand Experience Senior Account Executive at Sidecar, you will...

  • Be a key point of contact for your clients to bring these experiences to life, leading every aspect of project planning and execution, including budget development, brief writing, presentation building, liaising with third-party suppliers, and asset sourcing.
  • Be a key point of contact for your internal teams by owning all aspects of your project and being able to guide the team when challenges arise and pivots are necessary. Be able to creatively solve problems throughout a project’s lifecycle.
  • Work alongside Strategy, Creative, and Design teams to concept and plan experiences that address clients’ needs, elevate their brands, and ultimately turn heads and fill glasses.
  • Oversee administrative work such as building status reports, running status meetings, managing run-of-shows, and building production decks.
  • Be the gatekeeper of quality work, ensuring all creative ideas and execution touch points are on brief and meet the agency’s standard of excellence.
  • Travel to help execute live events as the key point person on-site. You will oversee vendors and staff, at times be the production manager on-site, ensure all event aspects are executed thoughtfully and with attention to detail, and be a cool and calm presence for our clients. Approximately 10-15% of potential events travel throughout the year.
  • Learn a lot. But also have a lot of fun. We work in drinks after all.

You must have...

  • 5+ years in a similar agency role.
  • A proven track record of managing the conception and execution of exceptional live events for consumer brands. Drinks experience is a plus!
  • The ability to multi-task across different projects while maintaining a team-player mentality.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • An eye for design - comfortable working with designers to achieve excellence and have the ability to visualize and implement the premium aesthetic of our clients.
  • Strong tech skills in Keynote and Google Docs/Slides, and is tech-savvy enough to learn other tech programs to work collaboratively and effectively with remote team members.
  • Willingness to travel for events and activations (approximately. 10-15% travel), with flexible on-site working hours as needed, including weekends.
  • A glass-half-full personality - resiliently positive attitude is key to the Sidecar ethos

It would be the cherry on top if you also have...

  • Experience with AV production and fabrication

Applicants must be 21+ and legally authorized to work in the United States. This job has some physical requirements, including carrying and lifting boxes, reaching overhead, bending down, and frequent standing and walking during event load-ins, executions, and load-outs.

PERNOD RICARD USA NATIONAL ACCOUNT MIXOLOGIST

This National Accounts Mixologist will be the key person for all recipe and drink strategy development for Pernod Ricard USA Corporate, and its National and Regional Chains. This position will be a part of the Trade Advocacy team and includes working with brand teams, field sales/marketing, Channel Shopper team, and the National On-Premise Chains team for all recipe development projects, trends research and analysis, new innovations, and other cocktail/spirits-related requests. 

This role will be employed by Sidecar Drinks, Pernod Ricard USA’s Trade Advocacy agency, but will represent Pernod Ricard externally. 

Key Attributes and Skills

  • Expertise in Mixology: Have a deep understanding of the spirits industry and the art of cocktail recipe building.
    Trend Awareness: Have a constant pulse on the trends within the spirits and beverage industry and be able to analyze and interpret these trends strategically and practically.
    Relationship Builder: Enjoys driving meaningful collaborations and is a solid team player capable of working collaboratively across various teams and personalities.
    Proactive, Creative Problem-Solver:  Exhibits an entrepreneurial and innovative spirit while being fiscally-minded.
    Leadership: Independent and organized, with strong communication skills and a strong presence that engages a room.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop commercial drink strategies for national on-premise chains and channel needs.
    Test new cocktail projects and equipment, and provide consultation of bartender tools and POS.
    Bring relevance of new trends to National Accounts and make them scalable.
    Customize presentations/demos and present them to National Account meetings.
    Serve as the point person for National Accounts to communicate Corporate initiatives and strategies.
    Drive training initiatives for chain customers.
    Be the key contact for brand drink recipe requests.
    Develop field guides that clearly outline the approved drink strategies, recipes, tools, and POS.
    Act as the main ambassador for brand flagship events (e.g. launch events), press engagements, and other media requests as the “face of our brands” across the portfolio.
    Participate in early-stage innovations planning in line with brand plans. 
    Learn a lot. But also has a lot of fun. We work in drinks, after all!

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in the spirits industry with an emphasis on bartending/mixology and cocktail recipe development.
    Brand Ambassador and/or sales experience in the beverage alcohol industry is a plus.
    4-year degree preferred.
    In-depth knowledge of distilled spirits.
    Strong knowledge of cocktail-making tools and techniques, beyond standard bar equipment.
    Excellent presentation and communication skills, both oral and written.
    Experience with event coordination and execution.
    A strong self-starter who can manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and respect commitments.
    Technical proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
    Ability to travel (approx. 30% travel).
    A valid US driver’s license and a clean driving record with reliable transportation.

Annual Salary & Compensation

  • $85,000 - $95,000 (negotiable based on qualifications and experience)
    Additional compensation: $300/month stipend for misc. job-related costs such as cell phone, internet, car, and gas
