These roles will be essential in growing Pernod Ricard USA’s (PRUSA) Agave brands and continuing PRUSA’s presence as an industry leader. In this role, you will serve as the expert in Agave Spirits–leading educational efforts, building industry partnerships, and leveraging existing relationships to drive awareness, loyalty, and conversion. Ultimately providing key inputs on how to deliver PRUSA's vision for Agave within your designated geography.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Executes programming and meets KPIs based on brand and divisional priorities, focused on driving awareness, loyalty, and conversion across channels. KPIs include on/off trade education, trade events, and distributor engagement.
  • Be a leader within the local trade community by hosting innovative events and trainings, while also providing on-the-ground engagement and advocacy. Develop strong relationships and cadence when activating with relevant local trade groups and thought leaders (i.e., USGB).
  • Prepares dynamic training sessions to further educate the Pernod Academy, distributors, and sales teams. Enhance brand awareness and differentiation, drive brand initiatives, maintain commercial knowledge, and create a robust network within the market.
  • Executes weekly and monthly reporting, including expense reports, post-event recaps, account audits, and KPI tracking. Presents competitive insights and trends to inform programming.
  • Builds and grows social media presence and utilizes social media platforms to support brand programming and showcase portfolio expertise.
  • Assists with drink strategy when needed.
  • Learn a lot. But also has a lot of fun. We work in drinks, after all!

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Working knowledge of Spanish required.
  • 4+ years of professional work experience required. Hospitality industry experience preferred with strong knowledge of the on-premise and bartender landscape.
  • 3-4+ years of US Spirits experience required - Agave experience is a plus!
  • Familiar and immersed in the local culture, understanding cultural nuances, trends, traditions, passion points, and preferences, particularly amongst Hispanic consumers. 
  • Significant experience in diverse flavor profiles, mixing and product preference among multicultural audiences.
  • An established trade network within the spirits industry.
  • Social media savvy with an active and strategic social media presence.
  • Strong team player with a proven track record of independently balancing multiple projects successfully.
  • Must be able to travel (60-70% travel required) and work flexible hours, especially evenings and weekends.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Reliable and punctual (no tolerance for “no call, no shows”).
  • A valid US driver’s license and a clean driving record with reliable transportation.

ANNUAL SALARY & COMPENSATION

  • $95,000 - $105,000 (negotiable based on qualifications and experience)
  • Additional compensation: $300 monthly stipend for misc. job-related costs such as cell phone, home internet, car, and gas
